I'm It!!

I've been tagged by That Girl!!! It's my very first time being tagged. How fun!!

Like all good games, there are rules.

1. Link to the person who tagged you.

2. Post the rules on your blog.

3. Share 6 nonimportant things/habits/quirks about yourself.

4. Tag 6 random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.

5. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

Y'all ready?
  1. I'm currently packing for my weekend in San Antonio. There are 5 pairs of shoes (it was 7 but I cut back) and 3 purses in my bag. I am convinced that I will need every single one of them in the one weekend that I will be gone.
  2. I hate to go grocery shopping, and I will put it off until there is nothing but diet coke and a cracker in my kitchen.
  3. I am highly addicted to teen dramas on TV. I can't get enough of them. My favorites are One Tree Hill, Greek, Gossip Girls, and I'm liking the new 90210. I watch The Hills and hate Spencer more than anyone should hate someone they've never met.
  4. Rob and I are highly competitive with each other. We once had a competition to see who could rate the most movies on Netflix.
  5. I live in Texas, but I've hated the Cowboys all my life. I'm a Houston Texans kind of girl. This season I have Tony Romo and Marion Barber on my fantasy football team. They are just too good to pass up. I find myself rooting for them, and last weekend Kaeli saw me get excited about a touchdown and said "Mom, we don't like the Cowboys, remember?" But I like Romo, and I think Terrell Owens is funny. I secretly don't hate them as much as I used too. Rob bought me a Cowboys shirt, and I sometimes wear it to bed.(never in public)
  6. Milk freaks me out. It expires and gets gross. I throw it away 3 days before the expiration date. I can eat it in cereal, but I absolutely can not drink it. I've kept my hatred of milk a secret from Kaeli because I don't want her to stop drinking milk.

There you have it. Six insights into my crazy mind.

Now it's my turn to tag. Fun!

Oooh, yay! I love being tagged!!!

My DH's second-cousin is Penn Badgely, who is on Gossip Girls.

I hate milk, too. I only use soy milk for myself, but I get organic for the kids, who only use about half a gallon a week or so unless they get on a real kick. I mean, I don't want to drink someone else's breast milk, so why would I want to drink COW breast milk?! YUCK.

I'm so glad you hate the Cowboys. I'm a Pats fan, and if you loved the Cowboys, well, them there would be fightin' words! :)

I was actually tagged back in July. I'll repost my response here :)

Here are my 6 Unspectacular Quirks

I waste a lot of paper. I love a fresh notebook and I do try to keep it orderly. But if I happen to have a sloppy day while taking notes at work, then I will tear out the sloppy pages and re-write my notes. Or I will just start a new notebook. I've tried to stop, but this behavior has been around since the 4th grade. I went through a lot of Trapper Keepers as a kid.

I leave a lot of partially full (or partially empty depending on how you look at it) water bottles all over the house. Instead of finishing "The Partials" (as John likes to call them) I start new bottles. Because 1.)I like my water cold. 2.)I don't remember to refrigerate the partials. 3.) I can't stop.

I count steps. I like to start and end on my right foot. If I need to skip a step to make this happen, then I do. I've memorized all the steps in my daily outings.
I'm glad that New Kids on the Block reunited. I can still sing the lyrics to their songs...It takes me back to the days in my pink bedroom with my poster of Joe McIntyre on my wall...

I can never make up my mind about my hair length. I grow it long because I believe that long hair is young, sexy, and versatile. Then I see a picture of the new bob that some actress is sporting and I tell my hair dresser to chop my hair off. I leave the salon with a high and revel in the fact that it will now only take 20 min. to blow dry and flat iron. Then I see women with long hair and I regret the bob. Back to growing it out so I can cut it off again...

I'm not a morning person and I never will be. It might help if I could go to bed an a more reasonable time, but there is just too much good tv and reading in the wee hours of the night. Thank goodness for my fool proof alarm clock a/k/a MADY. Otherwise, I'd be in trouble.
