The Set-up:
When Kaeli was at the park with her grandma today, she fell while running around the track. The track is made of gravel, and her hands and knees were covered in scrapes. No lie, she looked like she had been dragged through rocks.
Me: Oh My Goodness, Kaeli! You look awful.
Kaeli: Just what every girl loves to hear. Thanks.
I have no idea where she picked up that kind of sarcasm.

Oh dear, I love everything that kid says .. and mostly because it's funny on my side and wouldn't know what I'd do if it was Violet..lol!
